The WSHIMA 2020 Health Data and Information Conference is being held at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Lynnwood, Washington April 24 & 25, 2020. Lynnwood is a suburb of Seattle which is the largest metropolitan area in Washington. WSHIMA is a state association of AHIMA with 1,793 members.
Attendees – We typically have 270 attendees in the Seattle area but are hoping to increase that substantially in 2020 because we are significantly reducing our registration fees.
As far as decision-makers, we expect about 11% will be directors and about 17% will be managers. This year we will be offering a Leadership track, Coding (Pro-Fee and Facility) and Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) tracks.
Exhibitor Space – We will have the Exhibitors located in the area outside of our general sessions and break-out sessions. That is the area where our meals will be served. So there will be a lot of traffic going through the Exhibitor area and that provides optimal opportunity for attendees to visit exhibitors.
Opportunities to meet with attendees:
We will provide exhibitor introductions at lunch on Friday and opportunities to interact with attendees during meals Friday and Saturday. We will have dedicated exhibitor breakout times set throughout the event on Friday and Saturday.
Hotel Rooms – Block room rates available at the Embassy Suites are $134 Queen/double, or $124 King single.
Our Gold Corporate Partners have a complimentary space, and our Bronze Corporate Partners have a 10% discount.

Additional exhibitor attendees will be $55. Gold Partners receive a free booth and Bronze Partners receive a 10% discount on booth pricing.
$500 (by March 16, 2020) | $600 (after March 16, 2020)
*Please note: Attendees have the option to opt out of the Exhibitor Mailing List.
Selection of space will occur as Exhibitors register by date of payment with WSHIMA Corporate Gold Partners getting first preference and WSHIMA Corporate Bronze Partners getting second preference.
Registration will close for Exhibitors on April 10, 2020 or sooner if we reach capacity.
Exhibitors can mail their packages 3 days before the event with WSHIMA’s name on their package for start date/arrival date of April 24th and their own name.
Attendees: We typically have 150 attendees in the Spokane area but are hoping to increase that substantially in 2019 because we are significantly reducing our registration fees.
Set up can begin any time after 4:00 PM April 23rd. The Exhibit room will open at 7:30 AM on April 24th and the meeting starts at 8:00 AM
Exhibit dismantle will be after the break on Saturday afternoon, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM. WSHIMA acknowledges that many exhibitors will want to leave Friday evening, but we hope you will stay for some of our Reception.
Exhibitors are welcome to submit speaker presentations for consideration at the WSHIMA 2020 Health Data and Information Conference.
We have several opportunities for your company to be more involved. They range from sponsoring a meal, a break or a speaker. Or, if you have another idea you’d like to explore with WSHIMA, let us know. We will publicize your generosity with posters.
|Friday Evening Reception||$1,200|
Each year, WSHIMA holds a Silent Auction in the Exhibit Hall. All proceeds will benefit the WSHIMA scholarship funds and be disbursed to current students residing in Washington. We always welcome exhibitors to participate in the fund raising event. If you are interested in participating, please complete the Silent Auction Donation Form.
