Message Regarding the 2020 WSHIMA Health and Information Data Conference (Annual Meeting):
After careful consideration and based on reports from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC); World Health Organization (WHO); and the recent announcement regarding the restrictions on public gatherings in King, Snohomish and Pierce counties through March 31 to limit the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), we are announcing the cancellation of the WSHIMA Health Data and Information Conference (Annual Meeting) scheduled for April 24th and 25th.
The health and well-being of our members, speakers, staff, and guests is our first priority. Our primary concern is protecting everyone involved with this conference from contracting or spreading COVID-19.
We know many members look forward to the conference. The WSHIMA team is exploring alternative ways for speakers and presenters to share their work which permits members to earn CEUs, including a reschedule of this event. We will e-mail you with more details as we have them.
WSHIMA is so grateful for the hard work and dedication of the presenters and vendors who had agreed to be at our event.
We sincerely regret this cancellation and apologize for any inconvenience it may cause you.
Please cancel your airline and hotel reservations. Many airlines are allowing passengers to change or reschedule flights; please review your airline’s COVID-19 cancellation policies.
Registration and vendor fees will be refunded via check by WSHIMA.
If you have questions, please contact WSHIMA@wshima.org.
