The Washington State Health Information Management Association (WSHIMA) recognizes that our association and our profession benefit from the talents and energy of well-educated Health Information Management and Health Informatics Professionals.
Through generous donations, WSHIMA was able to offer $13,000.00 in scholarships this 2022/2023 fiscal year to assist student and professional members in their educational endeavors.
The following applicants were selected and awarded scholarships:
The Sister Peter Olivaint Scholarship – $2,000.00 each

The Long Term Care Health Information Management Scholarship – $1,000.00 each

The WSHIMA Scholarships are funded through member participation in the silent auction and quilt raffle fundraiser at the annual WSHIMA Health Data and Information Conference.
