Welcome Note from Judi Hofman, WSHIMA CSA President 2020 – 2021

Welcome to a new year at WSHIMA. I’m excited to be coming in as this year’s WSHIMA President.

WSHIMA has a new look and a new structure to its Board of Directors. Last year the WSHIMA Board of Directors took an in-depth look at the board structure and made some very significant changes. In the past, the Board had been structured with three House of Delegate board members and two WSHIMA Directors, as well as at least eight various Board committee chairs. This new structure for 2020/2021 has created a streamlined reporting structure with the new directors having oversight to their respective committee chairs and the work that falls under each. Each of the directors report to the WSHIMA President and ultimately up to the Board of Directors. The remaining 2nd year House of Delegates (HOD) roles will be retired at the end of this fiscal year 2021. The two director roles, Director of Public Relation and Director of Advocacy, are both currently 1-year Ad-hoc appointments by me as President. Each of these will be up for election on our 2021 WSHIMA ballot.

I’m very pleased to present to the WSHIMA membership your 2020/2021 Board of Directors!
