Dear WSHIMA Colleagues,
It is my pleasure to announce to you the results of the election of new board members to serve in the fiscal year 2022!
- President-Elect:
Sunni Borghi - Director of Advocacy/Alternate Delegate:
Kimberly Lee - Director of Education/Delegate:
Lisa Woodley
I hope you will join me in congratulating these dedicated professionals who are willing to serve on the WSHIMA board in the coming year. It has been an enriching experience to serve among other professionals who share the desire to support our mission by promoting Health Information Management, Health Informatics and Information Governance through networking education, shared knowledge and advocacy in the ever-evolving healthcare field.
WSHIMA board members have the opportunity to be well informed of the decisions and strategies coming from AHIMA. Some members will also have the opportunity to participate in lobbying our elected officials on important healthcare policy issues. If you share the same passion for promoting education and advocacy, you may want to consider letting us know of your interest in the coming year. We always welcome new volunteers who are interested in serving on the board!
Sincerely,
Melody Draper Hnatovic, RHIT, CHPS, CCS
President, WSHIMA
